How do I remove Control Panel from Start Menu group policy?

Use the Windows Key + R secret keyboard formula to open the Run command.Enter gpedit.Find the following path:Currently, on the right side, double-click the Hide Expanded Control Panel Items policy.Select the Enabled option. In the Options section, click the View button.

Hello ladies and therefore gentlemen …

Here’s the thing (and probably many of us overlook).

For a group of leads, I want to have a zoom out box available (to change simplicity via access settings, etc.).

I duplicated the existing group of rules, applied the game to the desired unit / group and made absolutely sure that

Start Menu and Taskbar Uninstall Programs from Settings Menu and
“Control Panel Deny Access to Control Panel” is not configured.

But the Control Panel still doesn’t appear high up on the Start Menu. I noticed that new users have new profiles.

The control panel is clearly available in the offer (via the link) with the corresponding CPLs.

Are there any other settings that will remove the common control panel icon?

RSOP has been checked for both parameters and is correct.

    Hello,

This is an old directive that experts say is tuned in. This still applies to experiencedusers?

Check out gpresults and see when the two policies are applied.

    Hi Suk,

I checked and since I disabled the OUs to make the policy obsolete the coverage should not affect the user. I double checked and it should be.

The RSOP and gpresult.html code does not highlight this background the last time the context was run on the target PC.

    RESOLVED:

I created a GPP for the start menu and accidentally removed the settings control from the start menu. It was in a GPO that messed up all the users, but since GPP performance doesn’t increase in RSOP data, I was overwhelmed on top of that!

    Hello,

It’s good that you solved it. Group Policy Assistant Results in Group P Managementpoliticians (GPMC) 2.0 will demonstrate GPP .

for a user group, I want the dashboard to be really easily accessible (to change settings for easier access, etc.).

I copied the existing protection plan group, applied it to the OU / Healing group and made sure that

“Remove Start Menu and Taskbar Programs from Settings and
“Control Panel Deny Access to Help You Access Control Panel” is not configured.

But the control panel doesn’t really show up in the start menu. I made sure that all new users have new profiles.

Loss panel is available (by See the last link) with the corresponding visible CPLs.

Are there any other tweaks that remove the sidewall icon from the control panel in most cases?

RSOP has been tested against the above two parameters and is the most appropriate.

    April 11, 2011 14:54 # 2 Hello

This is an old policy with a configured setting. Does this idea apply to core users?

Review the results and see if any general guidelines apply.

    Hi Sukh,

I have tracked, and since I have allocated specific units targeting policy, the old policy should not be the result of user action. I checked, multiplied by two and it is.

RSOP also gpresult .html does not light up the street light in this situation when it is running on a specific target PC in this situation.

    RESOLVED BY:

I enabled GPP to launch the menu and accidentally deleted the menu launch options control table. Was it in a GPO that annoyed all users, but since GPP shouldn’t show up in RSOP data, I’m lost!

    Hello

It’s good that you figured out the device. Group Policy Assistant (GPMC) 2.0 results show GPP .
