I’m having a strange Oracle connection error on Windows Server X64 2003 (IIS 6)

Although the .Net Resume Console, which runs as administrator, connects to Oracle 10g Express from OleDb [the connection looks like this: Provider = MSDAORA; Data source = server ip-address: port; User id = user; Password = Password; ]

ASP.NET 4.0 website (Application Pond also runs on behalf of the boss) throws an error:The MSDAORA provider must not register on a nearby machine

connection string is the same, but this situation does not work for asp.net site. What should I check?

I have an Asp.net application that I usually build for Windows Vista 32 with versions 2005 vs.

    msdaora provider not found

The MSDAORA provider used for the connection is the correct Oracle and that’s a good thing.

But if we are using a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003, we also receive the following error message:

Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Provider “MSDAORA.1” is not professional on local machine.

I did a Google search and found that:

‘Change Application – Use Use the 32-bit and 33-bit Oracle client ‘

    Otherwise

use a minor 64-bit client and Oledb provider (that is, the Oracle provider is ORAOLEDB.ORACLE)

I still had a question if I am using this installed provider, should I uninstall something, or maybe just install and use Oracle cyclist

ORAOLEDB.ORACLE and it will probably work.

I have an asp related application. What network connects to new Oracle database using oledb connection

Display as new OleDb.OleDbConnection (“Data Source = …; Persist Security Info = True; User ID = …; Password = ……… Expanded; unicode = true; provider = msdaora “)I am running Visual Studio on 32-bit Windows XP and by the time I debug the application, everything is generally working fine.

Now I have changed my app to Windows Server 2008 64 bit and implemented my handy app with iis 7.0

Now the problem might be that every time I launch the app from my browser I get the following error message:

System. The invalidoperationException: Provider “MSDAORA” is far from registered atlocal computerThe internet connection to Oracle cannot be at fault. I can connect to Oracle using sqlplus.

MSDAORA provider found without a doubt

I’ve used MDAC 2.7 on my MSDAORA system, but it doesn’t seem to be there.

When I try to access it, I get a “Reviewer not found” message. DLL

Can anyone help you? I am using the following connection string.

You should finally find an Oracle client, right?
