In this user guide, we will describe some possible causes that can cause an undefined LDAP provider error, and then provide possible fixes that you can try to resolve the issue.

Public Sub GetADUserList (ByVal ADLoc as string ByVal, vLock as boolean, ByVal vDays as integer, ByVal move as boolean, ByVal vMoveFolder as string ByVal, server as string, resultFile as string) Confusing entry as new DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry ("LDAP: //" & ADLoc) Dim mySearcher New as DirectoryServices.DirectorySearcher (write) mySearcher.PageSize 1000 = mySearcher.Filter = ("(objectClass = user)") For each ResEnt as DirectoryServices.SearchResult in mySearcher.FindAll () HandleUser (resEnt, vLock, move, vMoveFolder, resultFile, vDays) NextThe end of the submarinePrivate HandleUser (resEnt sub As DirectoryServices.SearchResult, vlock As Boolean, move As Boolean, moveFold As String, resultFile As String, vdays As Integer) DirectoryServices as.DirectoryEntry dim = resEnt.GetDirectoryEntry () '' 'Lots of links to information security services checking offices and making sure I want to continue working on my current property. The '' 'also performs debugging functions at this stage. Registration functions and so on. I did not take them into account, because all these people work de.MoveTo (New DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry ("LDAP: //" & logon_Server & "/" & moveFold))The end is built under

I turned it into a really nice executable and programmed it to work with the Windows Task Scheduler.

Error 0x80005000 what i get is related to the creation of the de.MoveTo line.

But here’s what’s interesting: if I run the career planner when logged in, it works fine, but when I log in from the side and actually let it work, I get some error on this line.

What will I do if I create a new DirectoryEntry object, I need a lot of authentication, but I don’t know how to do it without clearly writing this and the password for the username. I want it to only use the specified custom background from the main task scheduler.

I hope I paid enough for my question and it looks like this will help me.

p.s. the startup option must be enabled regardless of whether the user is permanently logged in or not.and the program does a lot of other things like writing to save the log file and get this information, it just refuses to move objects if necessary.

    ldap provider unspecified error

I am trying to connect to an LDAP server and register all users.
    How I use:

    <%
SQLStmt equals “SELECT cn” & _
    “FROM ‘LDAP: // name withServer: port / o = cisco. ” & com / ou = users’ _
    “WHERE objectClass = ‘*'”

Set Conn = CreateObject (“ADODB.Connec tion”)
    Conn.Provider = “ADSDSOObject”

    Conn. “Open ad provider”, _
    “cn = Directory Manager, o = cisco.com”, _
    “Password”

    Set rs = Conn.Execute (SQLStmt)

    Do without rs.EOF or rs.BOF
    ReturnValue matches rs.Fields (0)
    If IsArray (ReturnValue) then
For = i LBound (ReturnValue) To UBound (ReturnValue)
    If ReturnValue (I) <> “” then
    Response.Write ReturnValue (I) & “

    end if
    Next
    Otherwise
    Create Response.ReturnValue & “

    End if
    rs.MoveNext
    Buckle

    %>

I am getting the following error:

As part of our connection history, we have a Windows Script Host script that now fails with the message “Vendor: Unspecified Error” (mmm, but useful) only on some Windows XP machines.

     rs matches con.Execute ("; (sAMAccountName =" + username + "); ADsPath; subTree")

After some trial and error, that’s it (see if you can tell the difference):

     rs = con.Execute ("; (sAMAccountName =" + identifier + "); ADsPath; subTree")

  • Do you see what it could be? There is no space after the semicolon!

On the other hand, specific syntax like SQL also seems a bit softer:

     rs equals con.Execute ("SELECT ADsPath FROM 'LDAP: // DC = example, DC = com' WHERE sAMAccountName = '" + identifier + "'")

It appears that with some future versions of the ADSI ADsDSOObject (or, to give it its full name, Microsoft OLE DB Provider), the stringency of the query syntax has been relaxed. In any case, this is just an “undefined error”, which in this case is called a “syntax error”.
